This week at {PIN}spirational Challenges we are inspired by a sweet photo of a poodle. In this creation, I created my poodle by using cotton balls. They work wonderfully in creating the "poofy" look of a poodle's hair. One cotton ball was used for the center, then I cut another one in half for the ears.
Unfortunately, this card has a "Doh!" in it. I was so busy tying the bow with the white ribbon that I didn't realize that it was tearing into the card. Doh! I was not happy about this at all. Since this was the last step in the card, I just left it as is. There already is so much going on that I didn't want to add more embellishments to hide it. Do you have a "Doh!"? I'd love for you to share it with me :)

Brilliant creation Corrinne, my mum loves Poodles so she would be in heaven if she received something like this, the cotton wool balls work a treat and I adore the colours and ribbons.

Thank you, Lorraine!
DeleteLove the creative way you made your poodle! The woven ribbon looks awesome! My "doh" moment is when I stamp the sentiment as a last step on any card and smear it!
ReplyDeletePaige, I KNOW what you mean! I have gone to stamping on a separate piece of cardstock & attaching it to the creation because it happens all too often - Smudges, smears & ugly images just don't work for me :)
Deleteoh! i just love the colors!! and the ribbons! i have a thing for ribbons!
