There was a very brief moment in my life when I decided I was going to make purses. My mom had just bought me a sewing machine, so that was all I needed! I bought lots of fabric, trims, threads, handles & whatever else caught my fancy. I was going to be this fabulous handbag designer, making lots of money by selling them on ebay.
Ha ha ha! I made a few bags AND I even sold a couple. They weren't horrible, but they were not fantastic. Of course, I struggled & struggled to learn, but my impatience got the better of me. I put a stop to that fantasty. It was fun for a time, but it just didn't catch my interest.

ReplyDeleteI was that way with making dolls. Made a few and they turned out good and sold. But I am just not a sewer. I would rather do other things.
So pretty - love that purple glitter!
