This week I just couldn't sit down & create cards for challenges as much as I'd like to. I tried. I tried again, but I just ended up sitting at my table staring at my TV screen or looking out my window. I have a lot to do, but I just couldn't get myself to do it. I made sure that I completed my DT tasks & shop orders, of course.
Since finding all of my old jewelry, I had these wonderful plans to recycle it all into creations. I managed to create two things so far. This is the second one, the first one can be found here.

The bow is from a choker. It's actually the backing that was coming off, so I stripped it & turned it into the bow. Very soft & supple material with a rich brown color. I still have the rest of the choker to work with, too.
The other details include a chipboard flourish that I covered & sealed with glitter, leaf stickers & faux flowers/
Have you ever been blah about your craft? If so, how did you get out of it? I'd love to hear your story :)
This card was submitted to wonderful challenge blogs - See below for links & details, so you can create your own & join in the fun!
This is so pretty! Love the way you used the bow off the choker and those pretty flowers! Can't get much better than a little purple and green together too. NICE!!
ReplyDeleteI'm STILL in my "craft blah" so really can't help you out on that one! I do the same thing - just go to my craft area and stare at the walls! LOL!

WOW you did a great job! Love the colors and details! Hey I've hit brick walls before as far as coming up with a crafting idea. I usually will go to my computer and visit other blogs to get some inspiration and also check what challenges are available. Then I make me an Iced Expresso and that's when the Mojo starts to flow. Thanks for visiting my blog today and giving me a sweet comment and a lead on a challenge!! I'm goiing to become a new follower of yous!

Aaww . . it's so nice to hear that I'm not the only one :) It's funny how you can end up spending more time staring at your supplies than actually using them - Maybe that's why I have SO much of them. Ha!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Great colors and good for you for using up your old goodies.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
