Not what you thought I was going to say, huh?

Well, it's a new month & a new charity for Pin & Tack.

The Beagle Freedom Project

Their is really only one reason to support this cause.

It's the dogs, always the dogs. They deserve compassion, love & support.

The Tex-Mex Rescue: Seven beagles rescued!

Testing on animals is no joke & these dogs go through a lot of horrors.

And the sad truth is that it is not very helpful.

Less than 2% (1.6% to be more exact) of human illnesses are ever seen in animals.

"These first few moments of freedom captured by teary eyes . . ."

Beagles are chosen because of their gentle natures, ability to live in cages, and they don't cost very much to feed.

". . . now in their foster homes, getting veterinary treatment, nutritious food, and tons of TLC."

The Beagle Freedom Project rescues beagles from labs, then gives them a loving home.

It's that simple - at least when written down, but the work they do is far from simple or cheap.

In August, Pin & Tack will donate a portion of all sales to them. I encourage you to help out as well!

My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing. There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too, and I still dabble in each of those crafts from time to time, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which is versatile and forgiving. I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is also when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies.
