Strike A Pose, Reindeer

My new thing is dry embossing patterned paper. It adds so much more to it, including extra texture.

Unfortunately, the embossing is hard to see in this photo, but the cardstock (not the red) under the reindeers is embossed with snowflakes.

The charm is actually a tiny cookie cutter in the shape of a pine tree. Isn't that just charming? Ha!

Speaking of cookie cutters, do you make Christmas cookies during the season? What's your favorite?

Corrinne, this is a great card for the holidays! I also love embossing but yes, it's hard for me to get a good photo shot of it too. Love those reindeer.

Corrinne - This is a great card. I've been noticing other people embossing patterned paper lately and I need to remember that great idea BEFORE I adhere all my layers together and give that a try! My favorite cookie? There's The Ultimate Chocolate Comfort Cookie, or PB Blossoms, or Premier Cheesecake Cranberry Bars. My family loves the traditional cut out cookies (I think cuz they get to cut out their own and decorate them...its become a family tradition!) You didn't tell us what your favorite was...
Blessings,
Michelle

Such a pretty card Corinne! Love the composition and colours. I thought the reindeer were wearing crowns until I read that you'd embossed the paper behind them! I love that effect even if you didn't mean them to be crowns!!

Great design on this wonderful Christmas card! LOVE the little cookie cutter.
My Mom, both of my sisters, and I get together every December to make cookies. We have the best time and make my all time favorites-my Grandma's oatmeal raisin cookies!
