Going To Grandma's House

For a time, I was thoroughly involved in the craft challenge world. This is a place full of creativity for cardmakers and scrapbookers. You shared your stuff, they share theirs and you enjoyed the opportunity to win a prize. (I'm happy to say I won a few here and there!)

While living in this world, I came across Grandma Bonnie, a lovely woman who creates wonderful works with plenty of details to enjoy. Below is just a sampling of why I follow her.

Garden Girl Tag by Grandma Bonnie
According to Grandma Bonnie, she "loves to craft, cards, scrapbook pages, sew." And you can definitely see that in her projects.

Tire Swing Card by Grandma Bonnie

She is a crafter's crafter. She explains what she does in simple, easy terms, including sharing the colors that she uses for the digital images.

Red, White & Blue Birthday Card by Grandma Bonnie

I invite you to stop by her blog, leave a comment, and share in her crafty world. It's fun, cute and reminds one that it's better to send a card than an email.

Photo is a sweet, little bloom from my garden.
The layout is a reminder to bloom daily 'cause it's pretty to do so :)

Reflect with Illustration Friday

A newly found challenge from Illustration Friday sparked my creativity to try my hand at digital drawing, exploring a medium that I wouldn't normally go to. Plus, my camera needed to be charged and I can sit in my recliner here to do it. Ha ha ha!

It's the very first time I've done this, I know that it looks like a child's hand took up the "pencil." But I actually enjoy the look of it. A pig in a cloud of love & peace.

This is what Pigs Peace Sanctuary has brought me during the last two months of actively supporting this safe haven for abused, neglected & unwanted pigs. It reminded me why I became vegan in the first place and it has changed the focus of my shop & other creative energies.

There are only a few more days left before I explore & share another organization in this new journey o' mine. $1 from every item sold at Pin & Tack will go to Pigs Peace Sanctuary; although, donating directly would be so wonderful!

Blessings & joy, yours truly . . . Corrinne Quinn

I used photos of my glittery creations to bring a smile. You are welcome to share them as long as you don't alter the photos in ANY way. Please be kind & respectful - Thank you :)

Every Blog Needs A Little Love . . .

Every blog needs a little love & Blog Love Therapy is just the place to get it. Every week, BLT hosts a blog hop. It's open to anyone with a blog & the rules are easy:

BlogLoveTherapy
  1. Follow Blog Love Therapy. (I recommend this because it's helpful to have their new blog hop show up in your reading list, so you don't forget to join up the next week.)
  2. Post about the blog hop on your blog, twitter or facebook.
  3. OPTIONAL: Give advice, comments & suggestions to a fellow blogger who wants their blog to be honestly critiqued.
  4. Follow at least 5 bloggers in the hop.
There you go - Easy, easy! I've found so many wonderful people! I've had a lot fun & I hope you'll join up & enjoy the experience, too :)
