Clear It Out Challenge #11 - Sympathy

Clear It Out Challenges is all about clearing out your stash, hence, the name :)

Our challenge is sympathy and you must use dark papers from your stash. Sympathy cards may seem difficult, but they are actually quite simple.

With sympathy, you don't have to be over the top and you can keep everything CAS. Of course, if you need to add some bling (like me), there is nothing wrong with doing so.

Digi Darla is our wonderful sponsor and I was able to use one of their digis for this creation. It's actually a poinsettia, but I figured it would work, especially since I sparkled it up with glitter.

The style of this card can be used for any kind of sympathy, too.

C Is For Clothes Pins

Clothes pins are my specialty. Here is what I was doing on Saturday.

It didn't take me all day, but there is drying time, so I can get other things done.

This is 30 of my Cherry & Tofu Distressed Clothes Pins with Silver Dust.

Just For Me

 I usually don't make anything for myself, but I wanted something special for my cubicle.

This is a sweet memo board that I created out of a $1 canvas art piece. I covered it with scraps of patterned papers before placing a layer of watered down paint. I distressed it, then added the ribbons & other embellishments.

This tag was made with a mix of elements. I've always enjoyed creating a "collage" out of my embellishes. It's probably what you would call my style - eclectic collage!

I've had this gold sequin FOREVER & I keep trying to use it, but it has never worked for me until now. I made a little bow out of it.
