CAS - Try It Today

I'm keeping it super simple with this creation. by using all lilac cardstock with just a few hints of black and white.

I am not a CAS crafter, so I always have to stop myself from adding more and more embellishments.

Are you fancy smancy or a clean and simple artist? Or do you enjoy doing both styles?

Happy Christmas Merry

I've been inspired by a variety of crafters, who have been making Christmas cards using colors that you don't usually see, such as pink.

Since I have a lot of purple (and I don't know why), I decided to use some of my scraps along with alphabets that I've been hoarding for far too long.

Here is my easy Christmas card. What do you think? Have you created a Christmas card using unconventional colors?

Album Swap: Spoiler Alert For Lady Anne

I am a part of a fabulous Ning group called Lady Anne's Paper Crafts. It's a fun place to join in challenges along with swaps.

This album was created just for Lady Anne for an album swap. In return, she is sending me an album that she created, which I will share with you when I receive it (of course.)

It's my very first swap of any kind. I'm super excited!

I have SO much purple that I decided this album would feature that royal color. The pages have places where Lady Anne can add her own photos. It can be tied closed with grosgrain ribbon.

Also, if she wants to add more pages, she can do so quite easily.

Want A Cup Of Tea?

When I was creating my project for Tuesday Alchemy, I printed out two of this adorable digital stamp from our sponsor, The Greeting Farm.

I had planned on cutting different pieces of one image to place on top of the other image to create more depth. However, I only used the hat, so I decided to create my own hat. It's a smart little thing with a large bow & birdcage veil.

My first creation can be seen here, which was used as inspiration for Tuesday Alchemy's 21st challenge.

They are similar in color scheme, but I used different styles to create similar yet different looks.

And just for fun, here are a few of my purple creations that I offer at the shop, Pin & Tack.

Tuesday Alchemy's Challenge #21: Anything Goes

Oh, yeah! It was perfectly wonderful to have our Tuesday Alchemy challenge be anything goes. I love to be challenged, but sometimes, my brain just goes kaput & needs a little more freedom.

This week, we are blessed with a way to get an additional entry & two sponsors! If you create anything but a card or a tag, you will receive an extra entry, giving you more chances to win.

As always, you can enter Tuesday Alchemy's challenge as many times as you want AND combine with as many other challenges as you want. Why am I telling you this? Well, I just want to give a hint that the more you enter, especially if it's not a card or tag, the more chances you have to win!

Our first sponsor is The Greeting Farm. They are offering a 4x6 Clear Or Rubber Stamp Set to one lucky crafter. They have oh, so adorable digital & physical stamps. I used one of their digital stamps for this creation. It's called HG - Classy & you can find it here.

A Beadiful Life is our second sponsor. They are giving another lucky participant a $10 Gift Certificate for beads & jewelry supplies. Fantastic!

Ok, so let me just tell you a little bit about my creation before I go. I kept this card clean & simple because the image is just SO cute. I painted her gloves, shoes & all of those polka dots. The scallop edge is actually on the inside of the card as I trimmed the front flap just for fun!

Thank you for visiting me! Lots of joy to you :)
