Tuesday Alchemy Challenge #9: Overload

For Tuesday Alchemy's challenge this week, I decided to go with an abundance of colors, patterns & textures. The center oval was made by me using Scratch-N-Sniff stickers. Yep, this card smells like candy & other sweet treats - Isn't that awesome?

This card was submitted to other wonderful challenge blogs - See below for links & details, so you can create your own & join in the fun!

These cards are available for FREE! Yep, it's free. Click here if you'd like to have it as your very own.

I Heart Ladybugs

Have you ever been bitten by a ladybug? Well, I haven't, but my siblings claim they bite. I don't believe them. They are so gentle. They always just crawl around on my fingers, then fly away.

This card was submitted for challenges - See below for the links & details, so you can join in the fun & share your own creation:

It will be available in my shop (click here) if you'd like to give this to someone special :)

Tuesday Alchemy Challenge #8: Polka Dots

For Tuesday Alchemy's challenge, I wanted to create a fun yet sophisticated card that would work for any bride. This card is full of polka dots - The background is pink dots with shiny silver dots & the "frame" was embossed with dots. It features a handmade boutique bow, sparkling "diamond" ring & sprays of little flower buds.

This card was also submitted for other challenges - See below for the links & details, so you can join in the fun & share your own creation:

Cupcake In The Clouds ( Mission 2012: Use It! Card Edition )

Cupcakes . . . mmmm . . . Do I really need to say anything else?

Ok, I will say something else, but only to let you know that there is this fantastic place, Sticky Gooey Creamy Chewy, to see "red" cupcakes: Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes, that is. They look amazing! Now, if you are a vegan like me, you will have to substitute a few things.

This card was inspired by three challenges (& yummy sweets everywhere!) - See below for links & details, so you can join in the fun & create your own card:

Mermaid

When I first heard that Tuesday Alchemy's challenge would be "Mermaids", I must admit that I wasn't looking forward to it.  I don't think I've ever used mermaids in any of my crafts. Checking mental computer . . . still checking . . . Nope, I haven't created anything with mermaids to date. No mermaid papers, embellishments or even ideas. Yikes! What to do, what to do?

Luckily, I remembered how resourceful I can be, or rather, that Google is my friend. I found a vintage mermaid image, printed it & used it as the centerpiece of this playful card.

I also did a little cheating. Well, it's not really cheating. I like to say it's making things easier & multitasking. I used the theme from TA & the sketch from CP. This one card completed two challenges for me - See below for the links & details, so you can join in the fun & share your own creation:

Citrus Damask (Card No. 2)

The cardstock used for this card is some of my absolute favorites! The color scheme is unique & not seen very often together. I mean, really, who would have thought that yellow, black, gray & white can actually come together in such a delightful way? Someone did & I am reaping from their creativity - Thank you, thank you very much.
