Lady Anne's Paper Crafts' Friday Sentiments: Girlie With A Twist

Welcome to a new challenge at Lady Anne's Paper Crafts! The challenge is now monthly, so you have lots of time to create a project to share with us.

This month's Friday Sentiments challenge is all about the girly girl, but don't forget to add the twist of flourishes and swirls.

Since this is a "thank you" card, I would like to mention a few things that I am thankful for . . .

Blue skies & warm days (Is it really October?)

Clear It Out Challenge #13: Anything Goes With Black, Orange & Purple

It's October - Can you believe it? The year has just been flying by!

At Clear It Out Challenges, we wanted to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Happy Halloween! Ok, it is a little early, but this challenge will allow you to create a card (or any craft) for the day of candy, dressing up and spookiness.

Of course, we didn't want you to feel that you have to create a Halloween creation, so it's a color challenge using those popular colors of this fun holiday - Black, Orange & Purple.

Bugaboo is our sponsor this challenge and I used one of their super fun digis in this creation.
I chose to go with a super funky Christmas card. I mean, really, do Christmas cards always have to be green, red & white?

Have you used unusual colors in a Christmas card? If so, what colors did you use?

So Sweet

Good morning, everyone!

It has been SO hot here and smoky.
They keep warning everyone to avoid going outdoors,
especially if you have any kind of lung issue.

Yesterday, the smoke was so thick that you couldn't see the sun, but it was still over 100-degrees!

I'm starting to look forward to the seasons changing.
I want mild weather!
And it is so pretty when the leaves start to change.

This card was submitted to these challenge blogs.
See below for details, so you can share, too!
