Lavender XOXO

Lavender caught my eye, so I searched for it throughout my online world.
This is what I found. May you enjoy it as much as I did.

Handmade Monday #1

For this first Handmade Monday, let's be social via Facebook.
It's a wonderful way to become apart of a handmade artist & crafter's world.

- November is World Vegan Month -

When you like, comment and share a Facebook page, it becomes a part of your news feed.
This way, you can stay up-to-date on their happenings. Many shops don't just talk about themselves.
They offer other information - DIY, news, recipes and more!

Stop by these vegan shops' Facebook pages - Or follow Pin & Tack's FB page today.
(Make sure that you are signed into your Facebook for an easier time.)

Vegans Worldwide Etsy Team - Handmade, vegan goods by individuals not manufacturers.

And if you have (or know of) a vegan shop with a Facebook page, leave the link in comments.
Let's share with each other and be social - It's a fun way to support each other!

Orange You Glad I Said Orange - A Refreshed Look #05

Orange has fast become one of my favorite colors. It started several years ago.
That's why I created this treasury in 2011, which shows only half of what I actually chose for it.

Orange You Glad I Said Orange by Corrinne Quinn

And orange is still one of my top color choices. Here is another collection of delightfulness.

Travel The Pacific Northwest - A Refreshed Look #04

On July 5, 2011, I invited Etsyians to travel to the Pacific Northwest.
The journey involved artists and crafters in this fabulous region.

Sadly, the original treasury has since lost a lot of items.

But, luckily, there are still many people living in the area with handmade creations.

Travel The Pacific Northwest - Refresh #04 by Corrinne Quinn

And this time, YOU are invited to join me. Stop by the shops, favorite & buy.
Especially if they are local to you. If not, search for people near you :)

Please & Thank You, Retro Revival Boutique

Let's get this out there before anything else.
First, this is not an ad. I didn't receive any money or free product.
As a supporter of handmade, I can't help but share my finds with others.

I paid for these two sets of earrings. And I'm very pleased with them!

~ Thank you, Retro Revival Boutique ~
(I will call them RRB in this post for short, by the way.)

Welcome to Night Vale Inspired Earrings
RRB was inspired by a podcast called Welcome to Night Vale.
I've never watched it, but I was captured by the weird yet pretty look of these.
They are just as wonderful in person - Excited to wear them out!

Button Beaded Earrings
Funky, vintage style. Love it!
Both sets were well-made and they shipped very fast.
I'm already looking over RRB again for more :)

Clockwise, left to right: 1. Summertime Beaded Bib Necklace; 2. Exotic Bird Necklace; 3. Mod Golden Triangle Dangle Earrings; 4. Vintage Buttons Crocheted Bib Necklace 5. Purple Filigree & Red Crystal Chandelier Earrings
When you are in search of jewelry, I recommend Retro Revival Boutique.
I enjoyed my experience and I'm sure you will, too!

Gray - A Refreshed Look #03

It's not always black and white. Sometimes, it just gray and it can be beautiful.
I chose gray for an Etsy treasury on June 1, 2011 because I believe its such a lovely color.
Or is it a "non-color"? Here is the original treasury - missing a few as happens over time.

Gray by Corrinne Quinn

And here is the newest treasury, inspired by this one and the color gray. Enjoy!

Gray - Refresh #03 by Corrinne Quinn

Do these make you see gray differently? What's your favorite gray creation?

With Autumn arriving, it's time to celebrate.
And you can do that by wearing it - around your neck, dangling from your ears.
Enjoy these handmade and perfectly wearable pieces.

Heart This, Heart That: Gold, Gray & White

When perusing Etsy, I can't help but click hearts on a variety of products.
This is a sneaky peaky into my personal favorites, handmade & vintage.

What can one find in your own favorites? Or do you see something here that you like?
As always, share in the comments. I'd enjoy hearing from you!

Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue . . .

Roses are red, violets are blue . . . a poem that starts with this typically ends with an expression of love. Unless you like to be snarky, but we won't go that route - Ha! If you enjoy giving gifts, let roses & violets inspire you to choose one for your loved one.

Have you already gotten ready for the big LOVE day? If not, now is the time. Please don't be a procrastinator. It's just not the thing to do if you celebrate this day with your love. Otherwise, you end up giving a crappy card, boring box of chocolates, and not-so-fresh flowers.

Blessings and joy, yours truly . . . Corrinne Quinn

White On White On White & So On & So Forth

A collection of handmade things inspired by the color white.

Title: White Is Not A Mere Absence Of Colour

"White . . . is not a mere absence of colour; it is a shining and affirmative thing . . ."
- G.K. Chesterton

I've included a sampling here, but you can discover all at the treasury.

Happy March, my fellow crafters!

Anything Goes is the theme, so share with us whatever you'd like.

Beccy's Place - 3 Digital Images

Paint, paper, silk, charcoal, clay, wool, fabric, fur… I’ve had my hands on all of it at some point in my life and I’m quite certain I’ll have a half-finished project on my desk and ink under my fingernails on the day I go to meet my Maker! My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing. There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too, and I still dabble in each of those crafts from time to time, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which is versatile and forgiving. I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is also when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies. From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects.
