4 Ways To Use Clothes Pins Creatively In Your Home

While they were originally used to hang clothes to dry, that is no longer their main purpose. Now, they offer functionality in other ways along with creating aesthetically pleasing decoration.

Blaine Collection - Plum Distressed Clothes Pins Variety

My clothes pins are painted by hand, distressed, glittered (if preferred) and sealed. What you do with them after that is completely up to your own imagination! However, I am happy to give you a few ideas for using them in creative ways . . .

How have you used your clothes pins? I'm oh, so delighted to see what you've done with yours. And you may just receive a discount if your photo displays my clothes pins in wonderful way!

{PIN}spirational Challenge #28: Photo - Red Jacket With Pink Roses

How do you turn a rustic jean jacket into something sweet & fashionable? Dye it red and embellish with pink fabric roses - Isn't that a wonderful idea?

This week at {PIN}spirational Challenges we challenge you to create something being inspired by this photo.  There is lots to draw from, so I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Our sponsor is Folded Paper, so definitely stop by and share a photo inspired creation with us :)

For my creation, I used this fantastic paper with wood grain on it. Pink rickrack stretches across the card dotted by velvet red bows. To finish the look, I embellished the bows with big bold buttons tied with pink thread.

C Is For Clothes Pins

Clothes pins are my specialty. Here is what I was doing on Saturday.
It didn't take me all day, but there is drying time, so I can get other things done.

What did you do on Saturday?

A Random Collage

My mission this year is to use what I already have stashed away in my craft studio. This piece fully represents that.

A wood box lid was painted to be used as the "canvas." Then I picked random embellishments & combined them into a collage.

This piece resides happily in my living room.
